Dupli.Casa by J. Mayer H.

Dupli.Casa over viewing the downtown of Marbach and the German national literature archive from the other side of the valley Neckar is a work of German architect J. Mayer H. Mayer totally rebuilt the house dating to 1984 to a modern villa that takes advantage of being situated on an uphill. Villa with its three floors is orientated into all cardinal points and it represents a sophisticated harmony of interior and exterior. The simple geometric forms were combined with the smooth white facade and glass features.

i dont know if shimon will read this or not.. but my class mate in M.Arch universtiy college london worked in the design team of this house an did alot of work on it an takes pride in this project… i personally really like this project … keep it up…
First Impression: Splendid, surreal
Second impression: the rigid geometry of few openings is contradicting with the fluidity of the form.
I love it though. Wish I could do that.
